UNITY ESPORTS HEADING TO A LAN EVENT IN PRISHTINA

UNiTY Esports are heading to a LAN tournament in Prishtina, where the Czech squad will face an important international test.

The Czech Counter-Strike scene will be represented this weekend at an international LAN event in Kosovo. UNiTY Esports have qualified for the XP Game Fest 2026 Finals, which will take place on May 23–24 in Prishtina, Kosovo. The final event will feature eight teams from across Europe and Asia competing for a $10,000 prize pool.

The tournament follows the online stage of XP Game Fest, where UNiTY successfully battled through a difficult qualification process. The key moment came in the decisive match against the Kosovan team FromPR. After a hard-fought three-map series, the Czech lineup secured a 2–1 victory and booked their place among the final eight teams heading to the LAN finals.

Several key players stepped up on the road to Prishtina. Strong individual performances came mainly from Adam “NEOFRAG” Zouhar, Jakub “M1key” Krausko, and Ruslan “woozzzi” Aliev, who carried UNiTY through crucial moments of the qualification. The team’s international experience could prove to be one of the deciding factors at the LAN event. Another important factor is the addition of 2high to the roster, for whom the tournament in Prishtina will almost feel like playing at home, making the event a personal matter for him as well.

The XP Game Fest Finals will feature strong competition from teams such as JiJieHao, ENCE, EAC, and etc. The tournament will use a single-elimination BO3 format, meaning there will be virtually no room for mistakes. Every match will carry significant importance not only because of the prize money, but also due to valuable ranking points.

The tournament in Prishtina kicks off on May 23, and fans will be watching closely to see whether the Czech squad can translate their online form onto the LAN stage in front of a live audience.
