TIPSPORT OPEN CUP #1
From August 5–9, we will compete in the international Tipsport Open Cup #1, taking place at the Vodafone PLAYzone Arena in Prague, Czech Republic. Over the course of five days, 12 teams from around the world will battle not only for the prize money but also for valuable VRS points.
The tournament features a €11,000 prize pool, with €6,000 awarded to the champions. The runners-up will receive €2,500, while third and fourth place will earn €1,500 and €1,000, respectively.
The event begins with a group stage, where 8 teams are divided into two groups of four. Each team will face every other team in its group in a single round-robin format, with all matches played as Best-of-3. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, where they will join the four highest-seeded teams, who receive direct playoff spots based on the July VRS rankings. The playoffs will be played in a Double Elimination bracket, with all matches also being Best-of-3.
